Panel Discussion: VTE Situation Room

The VTE Situation Room is a discussion-based clinical session consisting of a panel of KCHP pharmacists from health systems across the area.  During this peer-to-peer learning session, panel participants will engage in medical discussion based on simple clinical scenarios surrounding venous thromboembolism (VTE) management in the ED in order to share clinical experiences and insights.  The goal of the session is for the participants and the audience to analyze and inform the management of VTE at their institution and promote collaboration among institutions to optimize patient care in this area.  The facilitators will present basic clinical scenarios and then allow for interactive discussion among participants with little interruption.
