Mentor requirements & responsibilities

If you are interested in apply as a mentor for the KCHP/SSHP Mentor/Mentee Program please review the requirements and responsibilities listed below.

Requirements

  • Currently licensed pharmacist and member of KCHP
  • Dedicated practitioner who is willing to take part in the professional growth of the mentee
  • Maintains a commitment to their own professional growth and advocacy for the profession

Responsibilities

  • Define your role
  • Discuss your availability and amount of time willing to commit to the relationship
  • Provide guidance on CV development
  • Discuss various areas of practice with your mentee, particularly your area of expertise
  • At least one face-to-face meeting per year (ie. At KCHP annual meeting, KU School of Pharmacy activities, etc)
